I ordered these for my 6 year old daughter when she goes to school outside. She was wearing knitted gloves, but they weren't warm enough. She wanted gloves that were warm but not bulky like snow gloves, she wanted to be able to zip up her coat and play with it etc. These gloves fit her well. At first I ordered medium based on the size chart, but they turned out to be too big. The little one suits her perfectly, with room to grow in the spring. My daughter said they keep her hands warm while on break and at the gym. She also likes holds on her palms. She also said they protect her hands when she falls and lower her hands to catch herself, which is nice because knitted gloves ripped earlier if she fell and dropped her hands.
