Review on 🎶 Enhanced HomeDock Experience for iPod: DLO HomeDock Deluxe by John Contreras

Considering the price I think this DLO HomeDock Deluxe is perfect for connecting your iPod to your TV and home theater system. Setup is really quite simple, although you'll need to connect to a TV to select the correct channel to view the video. The sound is much better than connecting an iPod with an RCA cable. I never thought my iPod could sound so great! One of the coolest features is of course the display of information about the track being played. In any case, it would be easy to discover all the features. With that in mind, I believe that DLO should at least have provided optical output connections to carry a digital audio signal to a modern home theater system. As for the video connections, I would venture to suggest that the lack of at least one component output is a limitation. As far as current and future technology goes, the available S-Video output is severely outdated! Overall this is a good value product with some really cool features! Until I tried the Apple Universal Dock, I knew this product was worth the investment despite being three times the price. As such, I would recommend considering your budget and researching the Apple Universal Dock before making your final decision. Note, however, that unlike the DLO HomeDock, the Apple Universal Dock cannot be plugged directly into an electrical outlet. This requires an additional investment to purchase the Apple USB Power Adapter.
