Yes, it is expensive. I tried less than $200. They all worked a little differently and didn't give me the results I expected. This is connected to my home wifi, updated and worked perfectly from the start. Very easy to navigate and it just makes sense. Clear codes, find fault history in your car, so easy. You'll love the kickstand that easily attaches to the steering wheel, so all you have to do is tap the screen to get everything done! Highly recommended.
