Looking good while exercising

I don't want to scold this item but it has some imperfections that may not be noticeable. I really liked the look of this thing on my bike, but replaced it with a more conventional cage for two reasons. First, the smaller diameter bottles tend to fly out of this thing, and the cage's two "knobs" press against each other. the other at a certain point when you try to bend it to pick it up. People who drive carefully or only drive on the slickest of surfaces may never experience this. As for me, I'm tired of stopping and chasing my water bottle. The second is more important. The reason I used landfill clogging PET water bottles in the first place was because my Green Canteen metal bottle was too long to fit in. The high position of the locking knobs on this style of cage makes it difficult to attach longer water bottles due to the gap to the bike frame. In other words, the design of this cage tightly limits the angle you can use the bottle. A regular cage, like the Planet Bike 6.2mm Welded Aluminum Waterbike Cage I bought as a replacement, will accommodate larger bottles because it extends from the bottom of the cage rather than the top. This is especially important for those with a smaller bike frame.
