I was a bit skeptical at first because of the cheap price, but it's just a gas shock absorber. Arrived 2 days after order. I bought these to support the bed in my caravan. Except that I got tired of holding the bed with my head and trying to grab something. I bought 150 pound shocks and that might be too much. The plywood on my bed is just under 1/4 thick. Without a mattress, two people must try to move it down or the plywood will break. Once the mattress is in place, I can lower it down with one hand with strong pressure. I might end up switching to 100-pound shocks, but we'll see. Nice bang on the buck, should have done it much sooner.
