Update: seller kindly sent another radio (working!) of the same type. Quick response - kudos to them. It's unclear what to do with the Dead on Arrival unit. There are no return/exchange instructions in the packaging of the new package. E-mail back and forth is also not entirely clear. Need more guidance but now I have a working KA580 and I really like it. The workmanship is not great enough to earn 5 stars, but it is fully functional. Original message: Dead on arrival. I requested a replacement because I want this radio to be yellow for emergencies. My device does not turn on properly and charging never completes. I think something is wrong with the internal battery or just the electronics. I can put new batteries in and select this power source, but it still won't turn on.
