I have only used these traction pads to help others get unstuck. In both instances an icy surface was involved. The issue is that the traction pads, when used on ice, the vehicle tire climbs up on the pad in good shape but then once the tire is on the track, it literally shoots the traction pad from underneath the tire (DON'T STAND BEHIND) because there is no traction on the underneath side of the pad to grip the ice. I have a couple ideas to hopefully fix the problem but one would be modifying the pad and not sure what that would do to the strength.
