I am a heavy tea drinker, typically 12-24 ounces a day and have a 1.5 hour commute to work each day. I prefer to use water at home due to my filtration system and love it when my tea is quite warm. This bottle has been thrown in the car and in my bag on train rides and I have NEVER had a problem with a leak (RAS!). I am totally in love with blue. I also narrowed down my water bottle choices based on their design. While I love my glass water bottles, they don't keep warm for long, which was the purpose of my purchase. I like ceramics too, but I was afraid it would be damaged as I'm pretty rough with my stuff on the way to work. So neither glass nor ceramic could meet my requirements. Since I drink hot drinks every day and wanted to reduce my toxin load, the only material left to me was a stainless steel bottle to avoid plastic parts. I've owned them in the past but stopped using them after a while because of the metallic taste. I've owned it since early January 2020 and haven't had any issues so far! Remember to remove the silicone ring when cleaning to avoid possible unwanted growth. I am very satisfied with this product.
