They are not very durable and you will carry all the packaging in the project. I had a chalk paint cabinet that I needed to sand/age and thought I'd give it a try. I liked the shape of the blocks, they are easy to grab (both gloved and ungloved) and they don't get blown away by the wind when you put them on. I've found them to last a while with regular sheets of sandpaper, but that's not the case with these as they wear out and dull very quickly. I thought I had at least one left but ended up using all 3 on a closet. They did the job within a day but I won't buy them again.
