A good tool kit for beginners who don't use it day in and day out. The brushes are not of the highest quality, but they allow the beginner to experiment and find out which styles they like. The tips will fall off the handles if not cleaned and stored carefully, and the same goes for palette knives. I would like to see more hazelnut brushes in the range. The pad is decent too and should hold up to water-based paint and other materials. For the price, you can get all of these items for less than you would at a hobby or craft store, so again, good value for a beginner, but don't expect them to hold up to heavy use.
