Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

I bought it in 2022-12 ., I don’t remember exactly, but I’m still happy with my capabilities, I use a fix for home and indoors, I often take 55-200 to the street, since the focal range for the street is ideal for me. I love natural photos and portraits, so it's important for me to take pictures from afar to avoid that very "presence effect", I don't spy, I just take pictures)

Pros

Good portraits on the long end - from facial to full-length. 200mm is enough to take pictures of some events, especially children, to avoid the effect of presence, mine constantly reaches for the camera) but this is not the case with this lens

Cons

After two years of use, there was a problem with the proximity ring - somewhere in the middle of it stops, in order to bring even closer I apply a little more force than usual. For some reason, they didn’t see the problem in the midrange, they said it’s not fatal, but oh well, two years have passed after that and everything is OK The problem with autofocus - sometimes it stops focusing in the machine, it helps to switch the autofocus of their auto to the manual and back. Very often there is a strong drop in contrast in bright light, the light is not backlit. On other 18-55kit and 35mm fixed lenses, this is not observed, maybe this feature of the lens, I don’t know. It is treated in the editor by adding contrast and decreasing brightness, after such simple manipulations with photographs, practically nothing needs to be done, the picture is excellent.

Bought with official warranty. It is categorically not suitable for shooting video (see disadvantages). I sold it and bought 18-140, which is an order of magnitude better and gives an excellent picture.
