I was very surprised and very happy with this phone holder. As. You can see I use it on my dash but I like that there are other options for both windshield mount and vent. What immediately struck me, to my great surprise, was how powerful the suction was! I gave the dashboard the recommended 24 hours to settle in. I then attached a suction cup to it and installed the rest of the phone mount (only took 2 minutes!) and the thing hasn't moved since! The only reason I gave this product 4 stars (wish I could give it 4.5 stars) is because my phone shakes from time to time, especially on bad roads. I have a Samsung Note 10 with a durable rubber case which adds weight. I would show you the phone but I used it for photos :) It's probably unrealistic to think my phone will never shake from such a weight but it would be awesome. Otherwise, about 90% of the time there is no movement at all, even when I expect it to. Another really great feature is how easy it is to detach the phone from the mount. Everything is at the push of a button! Even inserting the phone into the mount itself is a breeze, and the springs that hold it together showed no signs of wear after almost daily use.
