Review on πŸ”§ CDI 802MFRFMHSS Torque 3/8-Inch Drive Micro-Adjustable Torque Wrench: Single Scale Precision at Your Fingertips by Ryan Olsen

Not bad but could be better

I've been using it regularly in aircraft maintenance for several years. Overall good value for money although I find it bulky and not as good for hard to reach places as others I've used. The size of the ratchet head is particularly large, and the rotation-changing lever is often accidentally flipped due to its size and protrusion. The socket bracket also failed so the sockets/extensions fall off right at the end. Probably wouldn't buy another one of these, but certainly a decent tool that's a lot cheaper than the overpriced Snapon devices. Consider purchasing the Precision Instruments PREM2FR100F, also here at Revain, which is a bit more compact and almost $40 cheaper at the moment. It has a range of 20-100 ftlb. I have it too and am happy with it.

Pros
  • Flexible head rotates 15 degrees to either side
