As someone who typically does their shopping online, I couldn't wait to give Trico's online store a shot for all of my automobile supply requirements. My time spent on their website, on the other hand, has been nothing but a source of frustration and disappointment. To begin, the website has a terrible layout and is extremely difficult to traverse. It took me several tries before I was finally successful in locating the products I was seeking, and even after I did so, the descriptions were unclear and unhelpful. There was no simple method for me to determine whether or not the products would work with my automobile, so I had no idea whether or not they would. Second, the prices that were offered by Trico through their online store were not as competitive as was represented. In point of fact, I discovered that many of the products had prices that were higher than those of their competitors, despite the fact that they claimed to have prices that could not be beaten by anyone else. During the process of checking out, I discovered that there were additional costs that were not disclosed, which drove up the total price. Last but not least, the shipping and delivery dates offered by Trico were unsatisfactory. After placing an order for replacement auto parts, I had to wait several weeks for them to appear. When they finally did appear, it turned out that they were the incorrect parts, and it took several more weeks to get the ones that were supposed to be there. This resulted in a great deal of hassle for me as well as additional costs. In general, I would not recommend purchasing at the Trico online store to anyone who is looking for a shopping experience that is both hassle-free and affordable. Because of their poorly designed website, their uncompetitive pricing, and their slow shipping times, they are a choice for online shoppers that is both frustrating and disappointing.
