The product was packaged in a sealed plastic bag apparently to protect against fresh oxygen; a good thing. However, if you don't have a Food Saver, you must use up all of the product's packaging relatively quickly when you open it, or it will be destroyed by the air around us. The packaging isn't really designed to be easy to reseal unless, as mentioned, you don't have any food left over. Another downside is that each oxygen scavenger pack is tiny, about 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/4 inches, and thin. 200cu. cm is small, and although the supplier clearly states that this is 200cc. cm there is no visual information about the physical size of each packet, so if you are not too familiar with the 200 cu quantity. See like me, you can easily order less than you think you need like I did. I bought these for long term rice storage and intend to use them in every vacuum pack I make so I only have to use a few in each pack.
