Review on Oster Metallic Grey 2 Slice Bread and Bagel Toaster: Efficient Toasting Perfection by Dale Sundet

Oster was recommended by a website we consult for thorough product testing. It was the cheapest toaster they tested, outperforming toasters four times the price. We generally don't like buying cheap single-use devices (or anything cheap and disposable), we're the buy this for life type. When we bought to replace our 30 year old toaster we were disappointed with products that we considered to be inferior products almost everywhere at sometimes exorbitant prices. Some of them were terrible while others were just normal. We dared and couldn't be happier. This toaster is fantastic, not just "amazing for the price". Fry quickly and evenly. Key feel is good (at least for toasters) and grip feel is acceptable. The exterior is beautiful, and I appreciate the classic layout and modest footprint (I would have liked to have had perfectly straight sides, but hey, you still shouldn't press the toaster directly against the wall to avoid wasting a lot of space). the outer parts are metal and get warm, even hot in places. This is different than plastic bodied toasters, but there are generally a few external surfaces that you can touch that can cause pain after use. Most of the surface remains warm at the highest temperature. Get that toaster; it's great, and not just "for the price". We are confident that it will serve our needs for a long time to come. When we're wrong Hell, it's one of the cheapest foods out there, so it's a waste that we feel like we can eat it (pun intended, why not!)
