So I've replaced a lot of doorknobs. And this one was by far the worst. First, the terribly flimsy plastic (I'll get $20 on my next HD payment), I don't expect it to last more than a year. Thumb print should be tailored to size. They send you 3 sets of screws to install but they don't tell you how deep the screws go into the grip itself so it's a guessing game. Additionally latch-latch. OMG THE WORST for my door. Universal my ass! The pads they give you are VERY thin. I tried using the 2 they gave you AND the 3 that was under my old catch and I was still over 1/2 inch. I had to go to the shop and make a 3/4 inch washer myself and use the 2 washers they give you. How, for example, is a "universal" replacement almost a full inch smaller? good jab I was SOOOOO glad my friend was there to help me. I'm so pissed! I wanted to throw it away and put on the old broken one. Pooh. Never again. Stay away!
