Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

I have been using this lens for a little less than a year. I chose between f/1.4 and f/1.8 for a long time, read reviews, looked at the characteristics, and chose 1.8 because of the price. I took a lens with 1,4 from a friend to compare the quality of the picture, and was pleasantly surprised - the differences are not noticeable. Both lenses deliver sharp images, soft bokeh, and natural color reproduction. And if there is no difference, why pay more?! :-) I shoot on a crop, as a result, the focal length is 75 mm

Pros

Cutting! Fast! And all the ensuing consequences!

Cons

I didn’t find any special shortcomings (maybe there’s nothing to compare with yet, this is only the third lens), Chromatitis 7 blades on the diaphragm.
