Review on Tenveo Conference 20X Zoom VHD202U by Lorena Grant

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Why 2 stars overall when 5 stars in picture and zoom?

We use this brand of cameras to stream church services and brought the VHD202U as a second camera along with our VHD203U (which we wanted but can no longer get due to COVID and are buying all these cameras because they are cheaper compared to others PTZ cameras). Something that puts me off the 202: 1) The LEFT/RIGHT buttons on the remote move the camera in the opposite direction and cannot be changed as written in the guide and questions above. 2) There is no network connection, the photo of the back is not in the description, so I missed it. 3) The MENU button on the remote control does not work on this camera to change the address, this is also checked in the guide and questions above. 4) The motors are a bit noisier than the 203. Image quality is very sharp and clear, even in low light and close-up zoom. The camera is about 50 feet from the speaker and zooms in heavily to see the speaker connection diagram. The only solution if we keep this camera is to set it up more like a stationary camera and use it when transitioning from one scene to the next and thinking back when we move the camera left/right.

Pros
  • Zoom, Microsoft Lync, CISCO WebEx and Skype for Business are recommended conferencing software. You can adjust the video recording settings in the software to improve video quality and fluidity, such as: B. adjusting the video resolution, the video compressor (H.264 or MJPG recommended) and the frame rate. Important: Make sure your internet upload/download speed is at least 2 Mbit/s (> 256 KB/s) and stable enough.
Cons
  • Almost never
