Purchased for use under the hood with 4 AWG to disable the front battery and enable the rear amplifier. The booster burned out. Installation went well, finding a place was a problem, but the product is good. Depending on your application, you will likely need to provide screws. The screws bite well, the base is stable. Bought because the plastic lid looks like it will seal the joint - and it does it very well. Pros: easy to use, does the job well, small size. Cons: no fuse, no 12V indicator (but I didn't buy one for that). Buy this if you need a splitter for up to 4 AWG wire.
