Exceptionally well packaged! Easy to assemble. This is a screw (see photo). I always wash everything upon receipt. The glass came out nice and clean. I was concerned that the hollow handle on the lid was complicated, but it really wasn't. I was a bit overwhelmed by how light some of the wood pieces were. I expected it to be more color stable. I like the option even though I didn't expect it to have this level of contrast. The base is solid. No swaying. I chose this because I love the characteristics of curved baking glass and of course the natural beauty of acacia. Not disappointed at all! I got it for home use but would also order as a wedding present.
