Review on Natural Gas Heater: Mr. Heater Vent-Free 20,000 BTU Blue Flame - Multi-Size Option by Marley Woods

When I got this, I did not expect to have problems with it. I also figured that if I did, they would be easily rectified. I did not set it up until after the return date. I got it all hooked up, and the pilot would light, but as soon as you let the button go, it went out. I messed with this thing for HOURS, wondering what I was doing wrong. the answer was nothing. It just would not stay lit. So then I looked to get it serviced. I even drove an hour to a place that the Mr. Heater site claimed would repair it. NOPE. And meanwhile. ZERO Support for this at all. no one to talk to, the websites are obviously out of date. I finally opened it up and messed with it myself to see if I could adjust the pilot enough to get it lit. Nope. While I was taking the face off and putting it back on, I realized this was not machined well at all. very difficult to get it aligned and get all 4 screws back in, so I was not happy with that either. It SEEMS great if it ever worked. I bought it to warm my basement a little when it got below 20 out. but alas, got zero warmth out of it. and now they want $300? I think I spent well under $200 (I checked, I was right $131.99) and wow am I glad I didnt spend $300. DO yourself a favor. go to a brick and mortar to buy something like this. And don't buy this one.
