Review on Loloi II Hathaway Collection HTH-02 Denim/Multi Traditional Rug - 7'-6" X 9'-6 by Wendy Hernandez

This was my first time shopping for a loloi rug, there seems to be so much hype over them Ifigured give them a try. After spending way too much time going over tons of reviews with pictures, mulling over colors, patterns, etc. I knew I wanted something in a nuetral grey color. Its SO hard to choose a rug online, I really wish they'd use specific colors descriptions so it's not such a guessing game, this seems to be their biggest complaint. I chose "steel/ivory". I don't know about you but when I think of "steel" I think grey, maybe silver. There is no ivory in this rug whatsoever it's more a cool tone grey and there is a navy/denim color that is very prominent. If I wanted a blue tone I would have chose the "denim" one. Did I get the wrong one? This is a very cool tone rug, maybe thats what they meant by "steel". Hard to tell in photos but you can see the contrast as I laid it next to an actual grey, ivory & charcoal tone rug. The texture is very different, more like a mat. I'm guessing good for kitchen & bathroom maybe,, can't comment on durability. Needless to say I was VERY underwhelmed with my first Loloi purchase & wishing my husband didn't throw away the packaging because now I'm stuck with it.
