Foreword: This rating is based purely on the use of an angled pocket hole clip. I think these clamps have their place, but after trying them I'm more inclined to get the bar clamp. First, they are uncomfortable to pinch because they don't open very wide. Holding two blanks and fitting this clamp into the holes was a nuisance. Knowing that blind holes tend to shift workpieces when drilled doesn't help much in this regard. Even if you use a clamp in the hole closest to the one you're screwing into, the part will still move. Because of this, it's easier and cleaner to just grab a bar clamp to ensure the parts fit snugly in the screw-in location. I could see that these clips might be used for larger cabinets if you don't want to mess around with a long pipe. Clamps, but I personally will use rods and clamps for tighter connections. When flipped to use the end clip side, they do what they're supposed to, but I like my plain harbor cargo clips better. In addition to being functional, one of the rubber grips on the clamp was punctured/torn. Probably due to the fact that they were boxed, another clip cut the handle. If you want them at right angles I'd probably spend a little more on Kreg clips. If you need a face clip, get some cheap RF clips.
