I am a handyman and do NOT recommend that you attempt to change the dryer belt if you are not doing so. Even I became more and more reluctant to disassemble the dryer further as all diagnostics were tested, but I kept having to take it apart again and again to see if the belt had snapped and the dryer wouldn't start. I kept taking the dryer apart until it was just a shell. The belt has definitely snapped. The seller of this replacement belt has provided me with enough detailed information to understand that this is the correct belt. Once the dryer was disassembled and the belt arrived, replacing the belt was a breeze (after watching a YouTube video which I highly recommend before trying to replace the dryer belt). The tumble dryer was easier to reassemble than it was to disassemble. Best of all, the dryer wouldn't start precisely because of the broken belt. Like new.
