Like it except the remote control

Like I said I like it except the remote control. Even most of the remote control is fine. But for all the quality they've put into everything else, they've added a flimsy button to the end of the console to raise and lower the seat. If only women use the seat, it doesn't matter much. But it's PITA when the seat is used by a man. The button needs to be pressed straight to work. It's not uncommon to press it multiple times to make it work. The button does not work if you press one of the buttons on the side of the remote at the same time - this is easy. And the button is not secure and pops up every now and then. Because it fell off I lost a button that looks even more like a PITA. In this case, you need to put something like a pen next to the remote to be able to press the button. I'm right there. I haven't tried getting a replacement yet, but I've noticed that the whole remote costs about $140. I'll be really pissed off if I need the whole remote just for its flimsy button design. My guess is that they only tested women, otherwise they would have noticed this weakness. Edited to add: I called Toto and they were very helpful and are in the process of replacing the remote. It's nice to know that they support their products. BTW, a suggestion: make sure to get an extended seat, even if it means you have to replace your toilet. The round seat is quite small and pushes you forward a few inches, meaning the waste doesn't fall into the deep part of the toilet, but instead hits the shallow water and slides down, often meaning you have to flush multiple times or even do. unpleasant toilet cleaning almost every day. I suspect this is mostly avoided with the extended seat, but I don't know for sure. I have two round seats.
