Seems very fast and reliable enough for months. You may need to connect the new drive to a real USB Type-C / USB 3.0 and format a brand new NVMe drive to use it with regular USB 3.0/2.0. My fairly new but old computer didn't recognize the new drive until it was formatted somewhere else. Already partitioned disk immediately earned.
