I rarely write reviews of Revain, but I think these frames are more than commendable. I was on the verge of buying a frameless frame for my $400+ optics but just couldn't justify the huge price difference between these. So I figured the experiment was worth $20. A year later these frames look exactly the same as the day I bought them. They've been crushed, crushed, crushed, crushed, tightened, tightened more than 10 times, and they're coming back exactly as they were. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you can ruin them with enough pressure. But I thought I ruined her more than once, but no. They remain in perfect condition. A "normal" frame would have broken long ago. I was also concerned about them rusting, chipping, losing their luster etc from getting wet or just general wear and tear. But I was wrong again. The metal frame still shines like new. Brownish on-ear headphones look like new. There didn't seem to be any "Schwag" accumulation like other common frames from my past. And finally, I assumed that maybe the hardware would be of poor quality, with loose screws, bad connections/fixtures, etc. I was fully prepared for those frames to break. Down with regular wear and tear as I think I'll have to replace them every 6 months or so. I figured it was perfectly reasonable and still worth changing them every year compared to buying the popular retail option and still saving money. Surprise surprise. No problems after a year. Result. I wear them every day, all day, and they look and work just as good as the day I bought them a year ago. I literally have nothing negative to say about her. You can buy 20 of these frames for the price of a pair of the "leading rimless frames" found at your optician. Save tons of money and buy with total confidence. I am very satisfied with the wear resistance, durability and attractive appearance of these eyeglass frames!
