They are already falling apart

Just started wearing April 2021 when Spring came maybe 3 miles outside but the soles were already thinning so I've been wearing them indoors mostly sporadically for the past few weeks. Now the page is falling apart. For $56 they should last at least a year. WOW, I can't believe I just wrote this; Shoes should last for several years with normal use. It would annoy me if I made shoes that only last a year, let alone fall apart after two months. No wonder Toms has no return policy. Let's hope their humanitarian efforts are more sustainable. Maybe I can deduct that from my taxes in 2021.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Was damaged
