The blue TDS meter is actually quite decent. It's fast and reliable, and by far the best of them all. However, the other two meters are essentially useless. The white TDS meter is not as accurate as the blue one and the thermometer option is utterly useless. Put it in almost ice cold water and the readings are in the low to mid 60's. Put it in water over 100 degrees Fahrenheit and the reading will range from mid to 60 degrees. I've tried both and even after five minutes you're lucky if it changes a whopping five degrees. He goes in the trash. As far as the PH meter goes, I seem to have been one of the unlucky ones and got one which is also junk. Some of these normal shades of yellow seem to work pretty well, while others are useless. I'm only lucky enough to get the latter. Readings can and often will vary between 3.x and 6.x when testing the same water in the same cup at intervals of less than one minute. You may have better luck, but is it worth the risk? I had modest expectations for this kit and would be happy if the PH and a TDS were accurate enough. Two out of three isn't bad, but one out of three? No thank you.
