It is important to choose a color and to be comfortable when working, so as not to rush.

Fixing and covering a gaping crack in the wood of a dresser that was delivered to me damaged in transit turned out to be a lot easier than I thought. The company I ordered it from said I could donate it or dispose of it as I see fit, so I kept it and decided to repair it so the tear wouldn't be visible. This wooden spatula did it. It's been over 6 weeks now and even I'm having a hard time remembering or identifying where the long tear used to be. It is important to choose a color and to be comfortable when working, so as not to rush and make a mess.
