We bought a set of 8 slides to create 4 drawers under our work from home desks. Seriously, you can never beat the price. NOTE: Of course, because these slides are ridiculously cheap. Don't expect them to be durable or ready for use without a little work and patience on your part. Don't worry they are really easy to assemble if you just think before you cut or screw and just do it step by step. For real. That's easy. We had some nice wooden pallets in our garage (from stash) so we decided to cut them up for these trays. This is beautiful wood and we added some varnish before final installation. We just wanted to make sure we made these trays the right size before messing around with the varnish. That's the beauty of these trays - you can make them in almost any size you want. So after using them for a week we took them off, varnished them, sanded them down and voila we have nice and inexpensive trays that keep our tables clean. I've tried to put step-by-step instructions in pictures to help anyone who isn't a DIY enthusiast. I hope the pictures show you how easy it was. trust me you can do it. IMPORTANT: If it squeaks, don't worry. Just google "how to lubricate drawer ball bearings" or something like that. Whether you're buying those inexpensive slides or some other expensive ones, here's what you need to know. In addition, other ball bearings in your household are likely to require some maintenance as well.
