Review on Aluminum NVG Helmet Mount - Compatible with GoPro Hero 10 Black, Hero 9/8/7/(2018)/6/5/4 Black, Session/Silver and Majority of Action Cameras by Richard Sallah
Not what I expected.
Very nice helmet plate. Unfortunately I tried 2 GoPro boxes. I have a GoPro Hero 7. The first was an underwater housing which I would prefer to use with a GoPro, with this housing it didn't fit far enough into the mount to put a screw in. I was afraid of breaking the underwater box. , and he shaved off the connector pins that connect on the plate. The second mount I tried with this plate was a regular GoPro mount. This mount just rocked up and down and wouldn't hold even when the pin was fully tightened and screwed in. They included a pin stretcher so I knew it was as tight as it gets. I think if it worked it would be a great strong mount.
