Aluminum seems good. I didn't beat it and didn't test the class. But it's a secure fit and the closed-cell foam on the back ensures it doesn't rattle when mounted on a helmet. It has a good spring lock that makes it easy to get on and off. It works with Go Pro, most bike cams, devices, etc. I would buy it again.

Safe. The included sticky rubber pad prevents the mount from rocking in the NVD mount. Pay attention to the direction in which you screw in the fastening screw! At first I used it incorrectly and my camera was dangling. I changed the direction of the screw and now it holds tight. The mount comes with a mounting wrench and a cute little strap for your camera!

This is a very good quality mount but it dangles in a standard helmet mount. I read this and was prepared and put a plastic tube behind the mount, between the mount and the helmet and this allowed it to stay strong. So far, so good. I wish the manufacturers of these mounts eliminated the gap between the helmet and the mount that allows the mount to wobble. I recommend the bracket, be aware of this issue.

Not suitable for some night vision mounts due to the very small distance between the release button and the latch. The NVG helmet mounts I have are 3/16" to 1/4" thick in the latch area with about 1/8" spacing between latch and latch. I just received this product and according to Chinese product Revain it doesn't fit my real MICH helmet. It's not the same size as my HB mount and the mount makes a lot of noise.
