This is not suitable for some NVG mounts.
Not suitable for some night vision mounts due to the very small distance between the release button and the latch. The NVG helmet mounts I have are 3/16" to 1/4" thick in the latch area with about 1/8" spacing between latch and latch. If the button was cut shorter you will need one flat blade.or something similar to push it down as it will be at the bottom of the mount.If I sanded my mount it would loosen the mount and it would then rattle as it detaches from the front of the helmet and wouldn't lock tight.Check your helmet before you buy it so you don't have to return it like I did.
