So this is the perfect solution if you don't want to end up welding. I was able to put the spare exhaust pipe in place and fasten it with screws. The dent quickly fixed the problem and the car's exhaust makes absolutely no noise. Great for a quick fix. Remember you need to be the right size for your exhaust, so be sure to measure!
