I have bought several of these collars for our many cats and it has been a real adventure. But I just can't blame the collars themselves for that. The first thing I did was take off all the bells so it wouldn't ring like Christmas in our house. It was very easy to do. They're not kidding when they say break away. These collars are great for preventing your kittens from injuring themselves if they get snagged on something. Unfortunately, some of my little demons have figured out how to get rid of them by tucking their lower jaw under them and then giving them a sharp tug. It was easy to fix this by just putting the collars on, at least until one of them figured out he could help his friends and now took their collars off! the locks snap back into place immediately. I am impressed!
