I needed a better work from home solution. I work in an environment where I connect the remote desktop to my work computer via a laptop. I typically use my MacBook Pro for email, calendaring, appointment zoom, and video editing. This monitor connects to both my PC and MacBook Pro via USB-C. I love being able to connect with just one cable, just make sure you get the right type. Not all USB-C cables carry video, so it was difficult to route the cables in the way I needed for a cleaner workstation. The resolution on this monitor is good, but not great. Don't expect 4K quality. It's more like 1080p. I also connected my Roku to the HDMI port. I've found that my best workflow is to extend my MacBook Pro on one side of the screen and my Roku on the other. I have the ability to expand my computer to either side of the screen as needed. I am not using KVM features. Instead, I use a Bluetooth keyboard that can switch between two laptops and separate mice. If you want to use this feature with an Apple computer, I had to add an extra USB cable between my MacBook Pro and the monitor. My PC laptop seemed to work fine with just a USB-C cable. Advantages - USB-C connection for PCs and Apple computers - HDMI connection for watching videos - Large, clear display. The icons/text are larger than I need on a Samsung monitor. It seems easier to set up when you're in full screen and can't turn off side-by-side PIP USB hubs when switching sources on the PIP screen, even if you're switching a source that's not currently connected to the monitors USB ports . . This can be a problem when you connect a hard drive. - You need a remote control. The monitor is too big to hold at arm's length. It would be nice to have something to switch sources, adjust volume, etc. without reaching the monitor.
