Ideal for complicated coloring, but for large areas the color will be striped. I also had ink stains on my hands that didn't rub off. In time I hope! I'll post some photos. The first coloring book I made. You can see how large areas look "sloppy"; 2. shows ink on my hand, my fingers are worse; The 3rd shows the "dirty" spot on the paper. It was colored in a high quality coloring book. It didn't seep through the paper. I made a coloring book in a cheap book to see how they work. Definitely leaked to other sites. Overall a good product but I would say keep away from children. what can be confusing!
