These are great solid shorts for the money. My sixth grader thought the waist was a little tight, but otherwise everything fits great. The quality is solid, the khaki color is school standard and the deep pleats are just right for a British schoolboy! After washing, they need to be ironed again. Also wash in cold water to keep them from shrinking. These shorts last longer than some of the others we have - French Laundry and George brands come to mind. I will definitely buy a few pairs next year but I will buy a size up.
