I love this cupcake bumper. He doesn't knead the cake at all. You simply twist the plunger on top of the cake gently until it breaks the outer covering of the cake, insert and pull the plunger out. It is so easy. Once it comes out, simply push the lever down to take out the extra cake. It has side lines so you can be sure of getting the same depth every time. Personally, I really like using it to fill cakes evenly. I just fill it with my filling and it gently fills the cupcake. And if you cut off the top of the removed portions of the cake, you can use them to cover the filling in the cupcakes, making icing easier. And it's also very easy to clean! I love this little gadget.
