Excellent covering for parquet floors. I wiped down with Murphy's oily soap. I waited for the floor to dry and then used this cap to polish. You can clearly see the difference in the end result. In terms of washing, some reviewers gave it poor ratings and I can only assume they didn't wash it properly. Toss it in the washing machine, select gentle cycle/hand wash (cold water only) and remove when you're done. Place it back on the drive deck and let it *air dry*! With this method you will retain the quality and shape after repeated use and washing. I have included photos of myself that have been heavily used and deleted. Also, I haven't experienced any hood detachment. For $10 my floors couldn't have looked better. Worth every penny.
