Review on ๐Ÿšด LEZYNE Black Pressure Drive Bike Mount by Robert Oner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Here's the REAL beauty of this mount/clamp.

Probably the best portable frame pump in the world is the Topeak Road Morph G Bike Pump With Gauge (Topeak Road Morph G Bike Pump with Gauge). This is the ONLY portable frame pump that can inflate my road tires to 100psi or more without feeling like I've just completed a full workout at the gym. A notable exception is the Zefal HPX, but this pump isn't as portable as it can't be mounted to the side of a water bottle cage. And that brings us to the problem with Topeak and the solution with this mount: Topeak doesn't come with a mount that attaches to the SIDE of the bottle cage; It only comes with a mount that REPLACES a water bottle cage. And that is unacceptable. And unnecessary. Because this handy little Lezyne mount, with a little attention to detail, fits the Topeak well enough to make it a viable option/alternative to what comes standard with the Topeak. And judging by my own choice of pumps on the frame, this is the ONLY mount that works. And its price is worth its weight in gold. A NOTICE. One thing you need to do when using this mount with Topeak is turn the pump so the inflation tube (gauge tube) portion is facing down. Whistle, otherwise lightly touch this whistle with your foot when kicking. But as long as you twist it all the way to the down tube it will work great. I use it on a vintage steel frame road bike as well as a carbon fiber monocoque road bike and it works equally well on both. I still carry some CO2 around with me, but I have no qualms about saving CO2 and using Topeak instead.
