Good tablet for beginners.

My first impression of this tablet was that it was much larger than I expected. That's not bad as you usually need a bigger tablet for drawing, so that was an immediate plus! As the description says, the tablet also comes with a glove, a pen, nibs and a nib remover. Since the only tablet brands I was familiar with were Wacom tablets, I was so shocked to see that VEIKK gives you so many pens compared to Wacom. The pen comes in a nice little case to protect it and the glove fits my hand perfectly! In terms of drawing, it has very good pen pressure sensitivity and detection. The pen feels good in the hand and reminds me a lot of a mechanical pencil. The surface of the tablet feels soft and comfortable for drawing, compared to harder, rougher surfaces, which will gradually hurt your hand as you keep drawing. There's also a variety of buttons that you can assign based on your preferences, and you can have different profiles so you can easily switch between them to switch your buttons instead of having to keep changing them when you need to switch art programs . The only downside I can think of is that installing the tablet driver is complicated, but every tablet has a complicated driver setup so this isn't uncommon. If you need help installing the driver, the VEIKK website gives you an email address to contact so you can get help too, which is really nice. Another downside is that I would have preferred if the stylus could be attached to the tablet itself so I wouldn't lose it so easily. However this is just my preference and the pen case is still very good if I plan to travel with it and don't want to damage it. Another thing about the pen is that it doesn't have tilt support, but tilt support is not needed for digital art! Overall I would say the VEIKK A15 is worth buying and I would recommend it to any artist. It's definitely in the price range for both those just starting out with digital art and intermediate-level artists who might want to try it out if they're willing to experiment with other tablet models/brands. The digital image accompanying this review was created with the A15!
