Review on πŸ”¨ The Powerful Estwing Strike California Framing Hammer: Ideal Tool for Construction Projects by Daron Ellis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Have fun swinging this hammer.

I love using this hammer. I bought this about a month ago after using the Eswing Ultra Hammer (19oz) for the past six years. This hammer is obviously heavier, but if you know how to swing it's a nice change from a steel handle. I build and install concrete forms, so all day I swing my hammer with everything from nails to curb pins. This hammer can bury them all. I was thinking of spending over $200 for a bobby pin, but I see no point because it couldn't get any better than this $22 wooden handle. There are other reviewers who speak of the handle breaking or cracking, OF COURSE the wooden handle can break but if you are precise and control your swing this hammer is amazing!

Pros
  • Estwing Sure Strike hammers with wooden handles have forged heads made of hard steel
Cons
  • old
