The instructions don't tell you what to do if you decide to get up before the alarm goes off. You need to turn off the mode switch until the set time has elapsed, and then reset the mode switch to the alarm. The round switch to select buzzer, radio and alarm off mode is too small. You need glasses to install it properly. Replacing the backup battery is tricky - both removing the old battery and putting in a new one. Make sure you read the instructions carefully before doing this or you will erase all your settings!
