The size is good as it is a cup so I can visually gauge the amount of food I am giving my dog. I have a hanging wire cage and it fits perfectly. The biggest problem is that it falls off when my dog eats. When he's licking the floor to get the last bits of food, or maybe he's just really excited about tonight's dinner and eating with gusto, he knocks both the bowl and hanger off the drawer very easily. If he does this while there is food in it, the food will fall out and make a mess. and that solved the problem. The drawer is big enough that the left hanger doesn't get in the way when I'm sleeping, but I would prefer if I didn't have to constantly clip it to the side. It would be nice if the hanger could be designed to wrap around the rod a bit or be more attached than just hanging loosely from the wire.
