Review on ๐Ÿšด Enhance Your Ride with Selle Royal Respiro Saddles by James Prizgint

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've always had good success using various Serfas RX series saddles on my bikes in the past, but for my new e-bike the requirements were different and I felt I needed to try something different. The stock SR Freeway made me wonder what part of my lower anatomy wasn't sore and numb after a 45 minute ride. Replacing the RX-921 and RX Hybrid seats from my regular bikes showed a definite improvement, but the more upright position seemed to require a bit more, so I decided to try the Serfas CR-RXL and this SR Respiro Soft Relaxed. From what I've heard, I was expecting the Serfas to be more to my liking, but was surprised to find that the Respiro was noticeably more comfortable. I would attribute this to a wider ribbed channel and better sit bone fit. The harder CR-RXLโ€™s channel didnโ€™t relieve the front end or tailbone as much. I am attaching photos of both seats for comparison. Not sure how the saddle will hold up over time yet, but I have to give it 5 stars for comfort. PS I don't know why some of them load in the wrong orientation even when rotated and reloaded.
