I bought this after my kids chewed on the valve that came with my Camelbak. I knew the heads were different but found out. how hard is it to replace? When the valve arrived I was a little concerned that the fitting was too small. I had to trawl youtube to remove the old valve and after pulling the old valve out I was nervous I made the wrong purchase - the hose seemed too big for the new head. HOWEVER, I was able to mount this one by cutting the tubing a bit. Now it leaks LESS than the original. Also, the valve parts are strong and make it difficult for my kids to chew. You'll have a heck of a lot of time to destroy it. And when they do, I have four supplements. So I don't have to buy a replacement for a long time. Definitely worth buying. I just wish it was easier for me to find tips to replace the old one.
