I *almost* love this tray, although my little cat loves it. We got it because our new pup found 'snacks' in his old (opened) box and this was clearly unacceptable. So I found this one, which was pretty cheap. It's a good size and fits my (small) adult cat well, although I'm not sure how well larger cats fit in it. I *LOVE* the little (removable) grate on the door which helped a lot in keeping the litter in the box instead of climbing out with it as it leaves. I would advise everyone not to buy it): 1) The included shovel is less suitable for smaller pieces because the sieve holes are too large. I already had a shovel, so I'll use this one instead. 2) The bottom of the box isn't flat all over, so taking out items near the bottom gets a bit awkward in some places around the edges. 3) The top is not flat. locked. It fits snugly but doesn't snap into place like other closed boxes I've had in the past. Although there is a handle at the top of the lid, you cannot use it to lift the entire unit. Not the end of the world, but a little misleading when you see the handle with the lid closed; It only allows you to lift the top over the bottom. Another potential problem I see with this is that if your cat jumps up (startled) or smacks the top of the lid too hard, it can come off while inside.
